Scott van Teeffelen is an independent recording artist currently promoting his new CD entitled “NORTH”. The Backroads Band was formed in late 2004 to back Scott for live venues and while on tour. All five members of the band are seasoned songwriters and a new CD is being planned for the near future. The musical style of Scott van Teeffelen and The Backroads Band is best described as “New Country” or "Country Rock". Their music has a pop influence with a rock edge but maintains more traditional country roots.
