Bluetide
Formed by front man Shane Smith in 2000 partially thru the Rock School in Dublin, Bluetide are a 7pc Blues/Funk/Soul band with female backing vocalists and a whole lot of fancy stuff.
After a ruthless 3 year rehearsal and gigging schedule from, the band took a long break in 2003 for replanning and are currently making their return to the live circuit with a brand new line-up.
The band received much print and radio media attention as well as a slot on the IMRO Showcase Tour in 2002.
Bluetide offer a much needed and refreshing alternative to the rubbish boy bands and boring angst rock.
The future is blue...
