Boomslang is the cutting edge of acoustic rock. They combine the poetic quality of Tracy Chapman with the power of The Who. Karen Davis's dark, occasionally violent lyrics are complemented by her double-time acoustic guitar style. Melodic bass grooves, played by Kevin Hummel and solid drumming, played by John Hummel, provide perfect sonic grounding.
