STARTING IN SMALL PUBS THEY CAUGHT THE EYE OF LOCAL PROMOTERS WHO GAVE THEM THE OPPORTUNITY TO SHOWCASE THEIR MUSIC IN THE CITYS MAJOR MUSIC VENUES. THEY HAVE RECENTLY SOLD OUT A HEADLINING SHOW FOR THE SECOND TIME IN TWELVE MONTHS AT PORTSMOUTHS NUMBER ONE MUSIC VENUE THE WEDGEWOOD ROOMS (400 CAPACITY), FOLLOWING SUPPORT SLOTS WITH SIGNED BANDS MILBURN AND THE HOURS. AND MOST RECENTLY SIX NATION STATE MORE RECENTLY THEY PLAYED TO AN AUDIENCE OF OVER 1000 PEOPLE AT PORTSMOUTH GUILDHALL AS PART OF PORTSMOUTH SCENE PROMOTIONS SHOWCASE FOR UNSIGNED BANDSTHEY HAVE HAD NUMEROUS INDEPENDENT REVIEWS FROM LOCAL MEDIA THE NEWS AND HAVE BEEN REGULAR GUESTS ON TWO OF PORTSMOUTHS LOCAL RADIO STATIONS THE QAU

We have toured accross Spain and Italy; we are also experienced in providing live music for corporate functions, weddings and private parties. Acoustic Child are Ryan Wilson (Vocals / guitar) and Craig Went ( Guitar and backing vocals). Best described as a eclectic mix of acoustic blues and jazz with a twinge of rock. We have been playing the Sheffield/Yorkshire circuit for the last 18 months. In that time, we have been well recieved by both the local media and audiences alike. We have just completed the recording of our first album, A Year In Film and hope that it will be heard by and liked by a big audience.

Mark Cowden
Mark Cowden is a native of Oklahoma. Grandson of Jim Reeves fiddle player and Grand Ole Opry star Emmett Day, Mark was born in Muskogee in 1975. He started playing guitar and writing songs at age 10. By age 18 he was playing in various bands in the south of the United States where he ended up in Dallas Texas in the early 90’s to record his first single with one of the most influential rock bands in the Dallas area of that time, “Paisley Rain”. Mark then obtained a 5 year artist/management deal with Sony Records affiliates under the guidance and management of former Barry White bass player, Jacque Neeley. During his reign with Mr. Neeley, Mark co-produced various R&B, Rap and Hip Hop singles for various artists as well as writing and performing his own material with his Rock projects. Lance is a 33 year old musician - singer - songwriter from based in South Yorkshire. Lance got his first guitar at the age of 12 but didn't really take it up seriously untiol he began writing songs in the spring of 1990. He has written over 70 songs and pieces of music. DirtyMac was formed in early 2003 when Shane met Kev at the Romany jam sessions. Kev was an up and coming guitarist with a history of playing with a number of rock/blues bands and Shane was keen singer very much into political rap. Conversations between the two showed a similar line of thought with regards to the “system”. They needed a bassist and drummer to form what was to become DirtyMac. Kev’s brother John, also with a background in local bands was an accomplished bass guitarist and was willing to join. The Vaseline Rats
New UK band 'The Vaseline Rats' have just wrapped up playing shows with ex Judas Priest vocalist and founder member Al Atkins. Al used The V-Rats as his ‘live unit’ and have toured extensively with him in the UK, Europe and the States. The V-Rats have also been utilised in the same fashion with Jess Cox (Tygers Of Pan Tang and Denis Stratton (Iron Maiden). Recently completing Al’s album new album ‘Demon Deceiver’ The V-Rats are launching in their own right and aim to continue with the groundswell of support they are developing. With this in mind, the V-Rats are seasoned pro’s with endorsements with Ashdown Amplification in the UK, Spector Bass Guitars in New York and Moser Custom guitars in California. With regular visits to the NAMM show with the next date being in Jan 2007 in LA, The Vaseline Rats continue to develop and raise their profile to a worldwide audience.

StandAlone
StandAlone are a collective of musicians from former bands 'Locosea' & 'Kamblu'. Nick Robertson (vocals /guitar ex Kamblu) initially formed the band in August 2004 with Chris Dunstan (drums ex Kamblu) but had no guitarist or bass player, although they had auditioned several. In October 2004 Kenny Cassells (guitar ex LOCOsea) joined followed by Ross McCrosson (bass ex LOCOsea) in March 2005 to complete the line up. The band is a four piece that hail from Central Scotland, a tight unit with earshattering dynamics and heartwarming songs. Right from the start the band knew they were onto something good and in April 2005 booked into the studio to record the 'Can't Stop' E.P. which was released limited edition in April 2005 and went on to sell over 150 copies. ‘Can’t Stop’ E.P. was followed by 'Got The Bullet' which was recorded in May 2005 and released at the end of October 2005.

Seven Story Down
‘Seven Story Down’ write catchy songs that are both alternative and accessible. They formed out of a mutual desire to be creative. They are three years old and have gigged all over this fine country, winning over audiences with their high energy live shows for which they have received rave reviews. Their debut single ‘Radio Song’ (released 7th August) reached 23 in the UK indie charts. The band has a very DIY approach to their music and achieved this with no label backing or national exposure, just a lot of hard work! They were crowned the ‘Music industry’s favourite unsigned band in the south East’ after winning a regional competition judged by A+R from Polydor and XFM and Radio One DJs.
